Getting to Boracay

In General 🗺️ 🧭 🏝️

Visitors traveling from Manila to Boracay can choose between two main routes, with Caticlan Airport providing a quicker but costlier option, while Kalibo Airport is better for those prioritizing budget over time.

Regardless of the airport you use, you will also need to take a land transfer to Caticlan Jetty Port. Caticlan Airport is only five minutes away from the jetty port, while Kalibo Airport is between 1.5 to 2 hours away by land travel.

From Caticlan Jetty Port, a short boat trip will take you to Boracay island, where you will take one final land transfer from Boracay port to your hotel.

Flights to Boracay 🛩️

There are daily flights from Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila (MNL) to Caticlan (MPH) and Kalibo (KLO) via Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia.

Sea and Land Transfers ⛵️ 🛵

Many hotels in Boracay provide round trip transfer service. We suggest checking with your hotel for a hassle-free transfer experience.

If your hotel does not provide a transfer service, you can book transfers from Caticlan/Kalibo to Boracay through the following options:

1. Airport Transfer Service Providers

These companies offer seamless transfers, including land and boat transport, that will take you straight from Caticlan/Kalibo airport to your hotel:

Klook

Southwest Travel & Tours

Island Star Express

2. Airline Add-Ons

Some airlines offer bundled transfer services that can be booked along with your flight.

3. DIY Transfers on Arrival

For a more flexible or budget-friendly option:

• At Caticlan Airport, take a tricycle (₱75–₱150) to the jetty port and buy a ferry ticket on-site (~₱150–₱300).

• At Kalibo Airport, take a bus or van (₱250–₱350) to Caticlan Jetty Port, then book a ferry separately.

For hassle-free travel, pre-booking a transfer package is highly recommended.
